Guys, I'm sorry I abandoned you for so long. I was invaded by dinosaurs and Snupin shippers.
I find Snupin pretty cute, actually.
Fuck, somebody just laughed outside and it actually sounded like Bellatrix Lestrange is out there. Turning off all the lights and pretending I'm not in at the moment, in case she comes and tries to kill me.
There she goes again. It's probably one of the kids that keep hanging round our street right now. They brought back my dog the other day and asked if we knew he'd gone outside.
Of course we knew he'd gone outside. The door was open. It doesn't take a genius to work out, does it? Door open = dog wanders outside. Duh.
We only have a concrete floor right now. It makes our house look like an art gallery.
Snupin is adorable. Just reading the Ask Snupin tumblr. Asdfghjkl cuteness *dies*
*is dead*
*still dead*
*tragically remains dead*
*dead*

Salem Witch Trials
I basically skipped school today since some bloody sports championship was on and I has better ways to spend my life, thanks all the same. Like dividing my team between reading/watching Harry Potter, and writing.
I'm not going to divulge the plot of my project at the moment, but it should (hopefully) be novel length (IE over 40,000 words.) at the moment I'm about quarter of the way there length wise, which is fairly good going.
So, as part of my story I was doing some research into the Salem Witch Trials. (Don't ask me why, I can't tell you.)
In particular, there was one woman who was amongst the first three to be convicted that caught my attention. Her name was Sarah, and she was sort of a tramp. She was in her thirties, married with a four year old daughter and another on the way, when she was accused of practising Witchcraft.
Lots of fascinating stuff happened, which I won't go into (you'll just have to read my story when it's done, won't you?) But this is the main point I want to focus on:
She was heavily pregnant when she was accused and taken to a cell where she was tortured using Waterboarding, amongst other methods.
(If you don't already know, Waterboarding is a form of torture where the victim is strapped to a board, held down with ropes, etc. water is them poured over their head, producing the effect of drowning them on dry land. This can result in choking, the lungs filling with water, severe psychological trauma and even victims simply having a heart attack out of fear. It doesn't sound so bad when you first hear about it- having water poured over your head- but some victims have been so traumatised they've been unale to take a shower or go out when it rains. I can sort of guess at what an Eco of it might feel like. Learning to roll in my kayak, I somehow managed to lose the handle for the spray deck one time and was stuck under water. It was horrible.)
Yes, so, anyway, Sarah. She was taken to a cell where she was bound and tortured- her four year old daughter was forced to testify against her in court. She gave birth in that same cell, and do you know what she named her daughter?
Mercy.
That struck me as inescapably sad. Especially as Mercy died soon after birth.
This all fits almost eerily well with the plot of my book(?). It almost freaked me out, how many little details slotted into place.
So, yes. If you want to learn more, then you're going to have to wait until it's finished. :3
And the buy it. :D

Nightmares and Mozzarella
I had a dream that one of my friends turned evil and set a snake charmer on me. I then attempted to escape by balancing on top of an oar and paddling with my hands; predictably, that didn't work too well.
I seem to be having a lot of nightmares lately.
For instance, the night before last I had a dream about this book I used to have when I was younger. The front cover was a drawing of a field, and in the trees at the edge of it, you could see something that looked like the outline of a hanged man.
I dreamt that I was in English and we were talking about doing a project on it, and somehow I was trapped in the front cover of the book. And this person was saying that the only way to get out was to talk to the hanged man, and if he liked you then he'd let you go... And if not....
Think I could write a spooky story along those lines. *Makes mental note.* What D'you think? Would you read it?
Short entry for now because I need to go eat dinner.
OH, AND I GOT MY FULL FRINGE BACK. What a relief. I'd been growing it out, but I really missed it. It was like a piece of my soul had been taken from me.
Fringe horcrux.
Okay. I'm really hungry, and it's mozzarella pasta.
Mmmm. Mozzarella.
Nox.

Hounds and Jackals
Yup, I've been really behind on artwork lately, on account of the fact I've been working on a short story called La Loba. It's now been sent off to a fantasy magazine in America, and I should find out whether they'll publish it or not in a month or so. Wish me luck :)
Anyway, I've been slowly plucking up the courage to pick up a pencil again. The result is two pictures I'm not too ashamed to put online.
Okay, first off:
Yup, more Game Of Thrones fanart. *yaaayyyy* Don't worry, I'm not gonna go fan girl on you. If you haven't read the series, just accept that this picture makes sense, ok? OK. Good. I'm glad that's sorted.
Next:
I actually just drew this today. That means I will probably look at it tomorrow and think 'Woah, that's crap,' but by then IT WILL ALREADY BE ONLINE AND THERE WILL BE NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT.
Inspired by the Villagers song 'Becoming A Jackal.' If you haven't already listened to it, you should look it up on YouTube. That whole album seriously rocks.
And when I grew older
And when I grew bolder
Out onto the streets I flew
Released from your shackles
I danced with the jackals
And learned a new way to move...

Llamas
Somebody gave me this topic to write about. But, you know. Llamas.
Apparently some people keep them as guard animals. Wouldn't that be a shock for a burglar?
"Oh, I'll just take this tv here.. Oh look, an iPad, and... What's that, galloping towards me through the mist? It seems... Fluffy... OH GOD! OH GOD! I'D RUN, BUT I DON'T HAVE LEGS ANY MORE! THE LLAMA ATE THEM! ATE THEM WITH HIS FEARSOME JAWS!"
Ahem. Sorry about that.
I like llamas. I'd quite like one. Wait, can you ride a llama like a horse? I don't know. I hope so. I could ride my llama to school every morning, and leave him in the bike shed during the day. No, wait, I wouldn't. I'd take him inside with me, and whenever anybody asked about him I'd just look at them strangely and say 'llama? What llama?'
So, with that, I shall impart some wisdom.
Here is a secret rite from the beginning of time. Come closer so I can whisper it to you. Closer. No, seriously, closer than that.
Okay, back off a bit, you're in my personal space. Stop it. You smell weird.
Right, there we go. What I'm going to tell you is this- inside every person, there is an inner llama.
You see that businessman walking around, with a shirt and tie? His inner llama is pinstriped with a long neck.
See that girl with headphones and a hoodie? Her llama has black, green and purple fur. And ear plugs.
From now on, whenever you meet somebody, you won't just see the outside. Imagine what their inner llama looks like.
What does YOUR inner llama look like?
Whenever you're nasty (to other people or yourself) your inner llama cries a single tear. A tear, which dissolves his/her fur like acid. Acid that smells of jelly beans.
Hear that? You need to be kind to other people and yourself, or your inner llama will be completely bald and trapped in the stench of jelly beans.
You don't want that.
Do you?
Right, now go away. You're still in my personal space.
And you smell of jelly beans and llamas.

30 Things I Think Of When It Rains
1) Shit, is the cover down on the rabbit hutch?
2) Can I be bothered running out in bare feet to said rabbit hutch?
3) Why are my legs annoyingly uncomfortable?
4) Oh yes, it's because there's a dog on top of them.
5) I hope all the tramps that hang out in Ayr are okay. Wow, I'm glad I'm not a tramp.
6) If I was a tramp, would I be allowed three dogs like that bloke that chills outside the train station with a guitar and a rag rug?
7) Maybe being a tramp wouldn't be so bad.
8) If I was a tramp, would I be able to pull off making my dog wear a bandana?
9) I wish I was a tramp.
10) I wonder what bacon tastes like.
12) it doesn't smell great. Maybe it's better not to know.
13) At least the dog keeps my feet warm.
14) But for a middle aged Springer Spaniel, he sure is heavy,
15) If I was a tramp, would my dog be this heavy?
16) I should probably do some homework.
17) I hate homework.
18) I hate school.
19) Why do I go to school?
20) More importantly, why isn't it Hogwarts?
21) Maybe Errol still has my letter. Silly owl.
22) I want to watch another episode of the League Of Gentleman.
23) Do I really, though?
24) Watching another episode will mean I will know what Mycroft would look like as a woman.
25) Do I really want or need that knowledge in the back of my mind?
26) Probably not.
27) Why did humans have to kill off dodos?
28) If they had survived, could I have kept one as a pet?
29) Could I have kept one if I was a tramp?
30) I wish I was a dodo.
2) Can I be bothered running out in bare feet to said rabbit hutch?

A Detailed Documention Of My Dream Last Night
I have awesome dreams.
Like, I had this dream the other day that I was in Hogwarts during the Death Eaters rule. You know, when during the Deathly Hallows when Snape was in power? Yeah. I was a Hufflepuff student during that year.
I beleive I got caught sneaking down to realise some first years, and when the Callows saw me I climbed up some pillars and ran across some roofs. I was doing really well. I am definitely more co ordinated in my dreams than I am in real life.
Anyway, they were unimpressed and shot a Stunning spell at me, and I fell and broke my knee. I seem to remember they were most unsympathetic. They put me in a bamboo cage and hung aforementioned cage from the castles top floor. And then they kept poking me with a stick and telling me to sing.
So I was like, singing Mumford & Sons. For hours. Into the middle of the night. And my knee was really painful, and the wind kept making the cage swing back and forwards.
Suddenly, I felt like I was being watched, and when I looked up Snape was standing looking at me.
I know he was a double agent and didn't enjoy seeing students being hurt, but it also occurred to me that helping me might blow his cover and he probably wouldn't risk it. So we just kind of stared at each other for a bit and then I went back to singing (by this time, I was on 'I Gave You All' which is possibly one of the saddest songs ever).
And then the cage started moving. This jolted my knee rather painfully and I kind of yelped and looked around for the source of said jolting.
And guess what it was?
Snape was pulling in the cage. Like, dragging the rope over the battlements and reeling in the cage. He kind of grimaced apologetically for the jolting.
I admit I may have given him a thumbs up at this point.
Anyway, he pulled the cage over and it broke and I was just sitting there. And he said something along the lines of, "I think you should run now."
And I was like. "I can't."
And he said, "And why is that?"
And I said, "Um. My knees broken."
And he said. "Oh."
And then I woke up because my dog Tock had got into my room and was sitting on my chest staring into my face. He's a fairly heavy dog, and because of this I had some trouble breathing.
Anyway, I just thought I should share that with you.
Nox.
